Together again
Throughout 17 days, the Festival de la Batie welcomes one and all to a joyous celebration of music, enveloping dance, theatre, concerts and performance art, as well as a restaurant, bar and cabaret, all adapted to respect new personal safety measures as a result of COVID-19.
Local and international artists invite you to celebrate this event, and leave some of this year’s woes behind.

Village Suisse
Come enjoy the final days of summer!
Nestled within the Jardin d’Anglais, the Village Suisse continues to welcome visitors until September 20. Hop aboard a giant ferris wheel for magnificent views of the city, and enjoy family activities, including sampling delicious local food. Various DJs are sure to keep evenings from Thursday to Saturday especially lively.

Tickets are sold at the Office du Tourisme de Genève; please note tickets cannot be purchased at the start of the tour.
As participation is limited to respect personal safety measures, advance ticket purchase is encouraged.

CONSERVATOIRE ET JARDIN BOTANIQUES
Palm reading without the disappointment
The Conservatoire et Jardin botanique retrace the steps of explorer Carl von Martius, highlighting his penchant for palm trees through its collection of illustrations and his original correspondence renowned botanists in Geneva.
Between 1817 and 1820, the Bavarian botanist went to Brazil, where he became the first naturalist to describe the significant biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest. Von Martius gathered some 6,000 plants, described and illustrated in scientific publications of the time.

The outdoor photography exhibition “17 objectives for a better world” sheds light on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, along the idyllic Quai Gustave-Ador. Each portrait shows a remarkable resident of Geneva who works hard for a better tomorrow.
The exhibition is organised by the "Association Un Monde Meilleur", in collaboration with the Service Agenda 21 - Ville durable de la Ville de Genève.
